Have your say

Your feedback will help us to understand the priorities and aspirations of the local community in Wythall as we prepare our outline planning application for a sustainably located new neighbourhood of high-quality homes and extensive public open spaces.

Once you have had an opportunity to read an overview of the emerging plans, and view the interactive concept masterplan, please take a moment to complete our feedback questionnaire below.

Please ensure feedback is submitted by midnight on Sunday 19th October 2025 to ensure that it is taken into account as we prepare to submit our outline planning application.

If you would like to be kept updated on the emerging proposals, the subsequent planning application and statutory consultation carried out by Bromsgrove District Council, as well as progress with the plans, please ensure you select “Opt-in to email updates” at the end of the form.

1. In light of significantly increased housing targets from government, do you agree that a sensitively designed new neighbourhood of homes and extensive public open space at this sustainable location is a preferable alternative to some other sites being suggested for development in the new Local Plan?

2. In line with national planning policy, up to 50% of the new homes will be affordable housing, including homes for social rent and shared ownership homes that will appeal to first time buyers. Is this important to you?

3. What is your priority for new homes in Wythall?

4. A significant proportion of the site will be retained as public open space, including public open spaces and biodiversity areas, as well as a public walks on land previously closed to the community. Do you welcome this?

5. There is potential to provide a range of outdoor recreational facilities within the open space. What outdoor facilities would you like to see provided if possible?

6. The new homes will be built to be low carbon, with air source heat pumps, solar panels and EV charging as standard. Do you welcome this?

7. Existing high value habitats such as trees, hedgerows and pond features will be retained as much as possible, bolstered by extensive additional planting to significantly increase tree cover across the site and deliver biodiversity net gain. Is this important to you?

8. The development could generate investment to support local infrastructure. What is your priority for investment locally?

9. Are you, or is someone you know, looking for a new home in the area?

10. Do you have any other comments/suggestions?
